Apple Releases iOS 4.3.2, 4.2.7 for Verizon iPhone

Apple released iOS 4.3.2 today for the iPhone (GSM), iPod Touch, and iPad. The Verizon iPhone isn’t being left out in the cold completely this time, but instead of getting the latest features made available in 4.3 back in March, they will be receiving the bug fixes via iOS 4.2.7.

This update contains improvements and other bug fixes including:

  • Fixes an issue that occasionally caused blank or frozen video during a FaceTime call
  • Fixes an issue that prevented some international users from connecting to 3G networks on iPad Wi-Fi + 3G
  • Contains the latest security updates

While this update doesn't add any new features, it does include important security updates and we recommend everyone with an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, etc. update as soon as possible. To update, simply connect your iDevice to your computer and start iTunes to accept the update.

As you may remember, one of our resolutions for the year was to blog more around the topics of technology, social media, and marketing for business owners.  Our plan included 1 blog entry per week, sticking to the 3 categories we selected, and staying on track with the topics we had planned.  Since we told you we'd hold you accountable for your goals, we know we are accountable to you for ours so here's how we are doing:

Top 20 Things We Learned From "The Science of Timing"

We just attended “The Science of Timing” Webinar presented by HubSpot and it was one of the best webinars we’ve attended in a long while with so much great information shared (thank you, @Danzarrella).  Here are some key take-aways:

Twitter

1. Highest number of retweets (RT) occurs between 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm ET, and the lowest is between 8:00 am – 10:00 am.

2. The end of the week is more retweetable than the beginning of the week.

3. Click-through rate (CTR) is highest on Tuesday and Wednesday, and lowest on Monday.

4. CTR does not dip on the weekend.  In fact, weekend CTR is actually higher than on Monday and Thursday.

5. CTR also spikes around 11:00 am and 5:00 pm.

6. People who tweet 22 times per day have the most followers.
